Follow this Step by Step Guide to starting a Honda Four Stroke Engine. 

 

1.  Turn the engine switch to ‘On’.

2.  Push the black Fuel Lever all the way to the right to ensure the petrol is turned on.

3.  Push the grey lever entirely to the left to activate the choke. Note that if the engine is already warm, the choke may not be necessary.

4.  Pull the starter rope until the engine starts.

5.  Once the engine is running, push the grey choke lever all the way to the right, to the ‘Off position’, next to the black fuel lever.

6.  If engine has a throttle, pull the throttle towards you / to the left.
